What if a crown falls off when the office is closed?

If a crown comes loose, keep it in a safe place. You can apply a small amount of petroleum jelly or over-the-counter dental cement (available at most pharmacies) to the inside of the crown and temporarily place it back on the tooth to protect it from sensitivity. Do not use super glue. Contact our office as soon as possible to have it professionally re-cemented or replaced.
